Getting started
What is QuickCashback?
QuickCashback is a free rewards service that pays you a percentage of your online purchases back in cash. When you shop at one of our 5,000+ partner stores after clicking through our site, the retailer pays us a commission — and we pass most of that commission back to you.
Is QuickCashback really free?
Yes. There is no signup fee, no membership fee, and no fees to withdraw your earnings. We make money from retailer commissions, not from members.
How do I sign up?
Click 'Get started' at the top of any page, enter your email and a password (or sign in with Google or Apple), and confirm your email. The whole process takes under a minute.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. We only ask for payment information when you request a payout, and only to send money to you.
How old do I have to be to use QuickCashback?
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country of residence.
Earning cashback
How does cashback tracking work?
When you click a QuickCashback link to a retailer, a tracking cookie is placed in your browser. That cookie tells the retailer's affiliate system that we sent you. When you complete a purchase, the retailer records the sale under our account and we credit your cashback.
Why did my order not track?
The most common reasons are: an ad-blocker or privacy browser stripped the tracking cookie, another affiliate link was clicked between our link and checkout, you switched from web to app between clicking and buying, or the product category is excluded from that retailer's affiliate program.
Can I use coupon codes with cashback?
Yes for codes published on QuickCashback — those have been tested to preserve tracking. Third-party coupon extensions and codes from other sites often break attribution because they overwrite the cookie.
Does cashback work in the shopping app or only the website?
Most retailers only track cashback on the web. A few (Amazon, Walmart) offer app tracking after you activate on the web first. Details are on each store's page.
How long do tracking cookies last?
Anywhere from 24 hours to 45 days depending on the retailer. The exact window is shown on each store's page.
What if I forgot to click through?
Contact support with your order number within 14 days and we will try to submit a manual claim to the retailer. Success is not guaranteed — retailers only accept claims when their tracking system logged the click.
Cashback status
What does 'Pending' mean?
Pending cashback has been reported to us by the retailer but has not yet cleared the retailer's confirmation window (usually 30–90 days). During this period the retailer can reverse the cashback if you return the order.
What does 'Confirmed' mean?
The retailer's confirmation window has passed and the cashback is locked in. Confirmed balances are eligible for payout.
What does 'Rejected' mean?
The order was cancelled, refunded, or otherwise disqualified by the retailer. Rejected cashback is removed from your pending balance.
How long until my cashback confirms?
It varies. Fashion and electronics typically confirm in 45–60 days after purchase. Travel confirms 30–60 days after the stay is completed. Marketplace orders (AliExpress, eBay) confirm around 65 days after the buyer-protection window closes.
Payouts
How do I withdraw my cashback?
Once your confirmed balance reaches the minimum threshold ($5 for most methods), open your wallet, choose a payout method, and confirm. Most payouts arrive within 24 hours.
What payout methods do you support?
PayPal, direct bank transfer (US, UK, EU, Australia), and gift cards to major retailers. Crypto payouts are in beta.
Are there any payout fees?
No. QuickCashback pays all processing fees.
Is there a minimum payout amount?
$5 for PayPal and gift cards. $20 for bank transfer to cover the higher processing cost even though we absorb the fee.
Do payouts count as taxable income?
Cashback is generally treated as a purchase rebate, not income, in most jurisdictions. Consult a local tax professional for your specific situation.
Account & security
How do I change my email address?
Open Settings > Account, click the email field, and confirm the change from both the old and new addresses.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Settings > Security > Two-factor. We support TOTP apps (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy) and SMS.
Can I have more than one account?
No. Duplicate accounts are detected via device fingerprinting and are frozen. Referring yourself under a second account voids all pending cashback.
How do I close my account?
Settings > Account > Close account. Any confirmed cashback above $5 will be paid out first; any pending balance is forfeited on closure.
What data do you collect about me?
Email, name, click-and-purchase history at partner stores, and technical data (IP, browser, device) for fraud prevention. See our Privacy Policy for the full list.
Referrals
How does the referral program work?
Share your unique referral link. When someone signs up and earns their first $10 in confirmed cashback, both of you receive a $5 bonus.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are automatically detected and disqualified.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No — refer as many as you like.
Chrome extension
What does the extension do?
It reminds you to activate cashback the moment you land on a supported retailer and tests coupon codes at checkout.
Does the extension track everything I browse?
No. It only activates on the specific domains listed in the manifest — the retailers we support. It does not run on any other site.
Is the extension available for browsers other than Chrome?
Yes for Edge, Brave, Opera, and Arc — any Chromium-based browser can install it. A Firefox version is in development.
Merchant issues
What do I do if a merchant refuses to pay?
Open a claim from your dashboard within 90 days of the purchase. We escalate through the affiliate network on your behalf.
Why did my rate change between clicking and confirming?
Retailers occasionally adjust category-specific commission rates mid-month, and the rate shown at click time is the maximum. Your confirmed rate reflects the current published table for the specific category you bought.
